Patiently awaiting my departure...

Hi Everyone! I am going to use this blog to keep all you (friends and family) updated while I teach in South Korea!  I plan on posting often about my everyday life in Korea as well as trips, videos and pictures!!  I have been waiting to make the blog up for a few weeks now.  I am leaving in a month and was too excited to wait any longer, so here it is!! 

I was emailed a suggested packing list last night!!  To help relieve some of my built up excitement I went shopping today to buy some items on the list!!  Who knew buying Advil, vitamins, cold medicine (just in case I get sick), tooth paste, razors and shaving cream could be so thrilling!!!

Although I am going to miss all of you dearly, I feel that this is just what I need in life right now!  I have been wanting or rather needing a change lately and the opportunity to teach English in South Korea could not have come up at a better time!!  I am 27 years old living at home (DESPERATELY looking for a way OUT!), not dating anyone and can't find a job as a School Social Worker.  So I thought why not!  You only live once and there is so much of this world to see, experience and learn about.  I can't wait to share my experience with you!!!
